Kenya is in a drought right now. Two years ago I am Hope Foundation installed a rain collection structure at Kwa Mwata Primary School. However, with the drought the school and village are without clean water. IAH wants to drill underground until we can locate a water source to provide a well for the school and surrounding village. This will create a longterm solution, decreasing the poverty rate. Help us raise the $12,000 needed to make this a reality.
After visiting KWA Mwatu Primary School during our missions trip to Kenya in March 2017, our founder, Teshanne Phillip,
realized that we needed to do more for these children. So we adopted the school. Our goal is to fix the infrastructure
of the school, implement a food & nutrition program, and create a library.
Updates: We have built a new kitchen structure, implemented a nutrition program, provided access to clean drinking water,
created a library and installed cement flooring in classrooms at the school. Repaired the roofs of 2 classrooms,
finishing up planned projects of making minor repairs, painting the outside of the school, and implementing playground.
